September 2015I have been thrilled to work for web designer Moez Naseer and his websites The Mileage Club and Business World Travel. I asked if he would be kind enough to give me a review of my work. He had this to say..."We asked Justin to be the primary blogger for a travel site our company owned. Since he has started, we have found his writing style to be clean, professional and interesting. He is very prompt with delivery of work and very easy to work with. We have been very happy since he has started and I would highly recommend him for any further content writing assignments."Moez Naseer, CEO Maavan.comIt has been a thrill to work with Moez and I hope forward to long professional relationship. ------------Very exciting news for one of my short screenplays. My horror short, Nails on a Chalkboard has been nominated for Best Horror Short and Best Dialogue in a Short at the Action on Film Awards. The awards ceremony happens later this month. I will keep you posted. ------------The film festival curcuit is alive and well and I have a lot of great news to report regarding two of my screenplays. First, my holiday screenplay Brandon's Christmas Wish has been announced as an Official Selection in the 2015 Oaxaca FilmFest down in Mexico. The winners will be announced in October.August 2015Last year I completed my work with the shopping website Pricegrabber. During my time, I worked with Cryatal Murray, a great editor who really helped me to helm my skills. I had a great time working with her. I asked if she could say a few words about my work and she was gracious enough to give me a recommendation. This is what she had to say:"I had the pleasure of working with Justin on a shopping blog for a former employer. I counted on him to produce a series of themed articles weekly. Justin was personable, reliable and flexible, willing to test different strategies for the company. He proved to be a top contributor and I would definitely work with him again!"- Crystal Murray, former PR Manager of PriceGrabber.com ------------I am thrilled to announce that my horror short 'Nails on a Chalkboard' has been announced as a finalist at the 2015 Action on Film Festival. I have had the privilege of being involved with AOF in past years and it is always an honor. Stay tuned, in the next month or two I will be notified of what categories I have been nominated in. Thanks AOF!July 2015This month I had the honor of becoming a finalist in the ScreenCraft Short Film competition for my horror-themed short film 'Nails on a Chalkboard.' It was quite an honor to be a part of that festival and I am looking for many other great films with this short film, perhaps even production!June 2015I am pleased to say that I have been selected to be interviewed as part of the book, Top 50 Indie Writers In The World, written by authors Del Winston, Theresa Winston and Nabi Zee. This is a great honor for me as I am included in a book with great screenwriters including Ken Lemm and Warren Hull. When I started writing four years ago, I never would have imagined that I could be included in such a book. This is a great omen for me and I am planning on continued sucess for the rest of 2015.May 2015With a new year, comes new changes. For all of 2014, I was working freelance for Grabworthy.com. With Grabworthy, I was responsible for writing shopping related articles on a variety of products. Recently the company went in another direction, thus ending my assignment. But do not fear. Since then, I have begun working for a new company, Fanbread. Through Fanbread I have been a frequent contributer for several websites including Geekster Ink, a tattoo based website with a nerdy twist. You can check out some of my work for that website here.March 2015With a new year, comes new changes. For all of 2014, I was working freelance for Grabworthy.com.
